Description
Standing firm means sticking with Jesus, come what may. It means continually returning to the message of hope and salvation that comes through the cross.
But of course, it doesn't mean standing still—God's great plan is to make us holy and blameless, ready for the Lord's return.
These simple studies help us unpack this vital aspect of the Christian life through Paul's first letter to the Thessalonians. Like the Thessalonians, we're challenged to stand firm in the gospel while being thoroughly changed by it.
About downloadable files and group licences
If you wish to share copies of the study with others, or plan to read out the questions or explanatory text to a group, consider a group licence. A group licence allows for up to 15 copies of a PDF to be shared within one growth group, making it quick and easy to organise. Otherwise, adjust the quantity you're buying to match the number of people participating. Volume discounts still apply to digital files, and these discounts will be automatically applied at checkout.

About Pathway Bible Guides
This Bible study resource is part of our series Pathway Bible Guides. This series aims to provide simple, straightforward Bible study material for:
- Christians who are new to studying the Bible (perhaps because they've been recently converted or because they have joined a Bible study group for the first time)
- Christians who find other studies (such as the Interactive Bible Studies) too much of a stretch
- groups with limited time for study
Accordingly, we've designed the studies to be short, straightforward and easy to use, with uncomplicated vocabulary. At the same time, the studies do justice to the passages and model good Bible-reading principles. They are simple without being simplistic; no-nonsense without being no-content.
The questions and answers assume a small group context but can be easily adapted to suit different situations, such as individual study and one-to-one.
